GeekGirlCon Wrap-Up

It was amazing to see our geeky folks this past weekend at GeekGirlCon! It’s always great being in a place that is inclusive and safe for everyone. We needed that this week.

You can view a quick video walk-thru of our booth after we finished setting up!

Just a reminder that Elise & Raven will be at GeekGirlCon 2024, November 9-10, at the Seattle Conference Center in Downtown Seattle! We’re booth 208 in the Dealer’s Hall.

GeekGirlCon 2023

I realized we hadn’t posted any pictures of us from GeekGirlCon 2023!

It was a very safe convention COVID wise and we enjoyed being back amongst our geeky people.

SummerCon 2022!

We’re excited to get back to vending at conventions and chatting with everyone, so we’re excited to announce that barring another serious variant, we’ll be at Washington State SummerCon this June!

We’re hoping to add another convention or two this year as well so stay tuned!

Welcome Norwescon Attendees!

Books & Chains will be in the dealer’s hall on AIRMEET for this virtual convention. You’ll be able to come video/audio chat with us, ask questions about our items, and watch us make chainmaille, paint, and/or write during dealer’s room hours! You can also go to our store and shop!

2020…Pandemic Style

2020–the year of Covid-19 and crazy politics. After our event at NerdFaire in Lynnwood, WA, all of our events for the 2020 Year were cancelled.

You’re welcome to order from our online store but otherwise, we’ll be waiting this out with everyone else. Several of our events have already shifted to virtual for 2021. We’ll let you know when we start doing in person events again. 🙁

Geek Craft Market!

We noticed it had been a while since we’d updated the event calendar, which has now been updated to fully reflect 2019’s calendar. On that note, if you’re looking for a way to drown your sorrows that the man who was Chewbacca has died or celebrate this geeky weekend (May the 4th be with you, or possibly Revenge of the 5th, depending upon how you roll), come on out to Puyallup for the Geek Craft Market!

Books & Chains will be there Saturday with new books, art, and chainmaille jewelry! More details on the event can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/173227936896201
